SPECIAL NAVAL NIGHT N.Z. NAVY V. IMPERIAL NAVY The Royal Navy will be in possession of Blandford Park tonight, when a special attraction has been arranged between rival teams from the units of ; the New Zealand Navy and the Imperial servicemen. With all the ships in port, both services will be at full strength, and tiie keen rivalry between them will find an outlet in a lively match between clever exponents of the round ball code. The fascination of football on the brilliantly illuminated arena grows on the spectator, and the increasing attendance at the evening games is evidence of the attractive menu provided. , The effective drainage now installed !at Blandford Park is proved by ilie ; manner in which all surface water from j recent rains disappeared at once, and : the ground has dried out splendidly 'for tonight’s display. A large attendance of the naval contingent will be present tonight, and there is sure to |be some entertaining barracking 1 ei tween the enthusiastic supporters of the rival men-of-war.
