! PRESBYTERIAN APPROVAL NEED FOR SUITABLE FILMS If suitable films are chosen, picture, screening in children’s cinemas has the approval of the Presbyterian Church. The proposal to establish a children’s cinema was favoured by the Auckland Presbytery yesterday afternoon. At the same time a resolution was made, on the motion of the Rev. W. L. Marsh, that the presbytery cordially welcomed screening of films to children where suitable subjects were chosen. Air. Marsh referred to the report of the Expert Committee of the League of Nations on the effect of films on child welfare.
