RIALTO, AND REGENT, EPSOM
“NEW YORK” Round the love story of a poor but ambitious immigrant youth and a millionaire’s beautiful daughter is woven the theme of “Xew York,” starring Lois Wilson, and Ricardo Cortez, now at the Rialto and Regent (Epsom) Theatres. The story concerns four boys who grow’ to manhood on the sidewalks of Xew York. One enters politics, another becomes a professional criminal and the oher two organise a jazz band. In spite of the variety of their vocations their friendhip continues unbroken. Then a woman enters. Complications arise, and the throbbing, ever wakeful, rushing life of the great metropolis serves as a background for the unfolding of the plot.
“Don’t Marry,” the second feature, is an amusing comedy of an ultra-modern young woman, starring Lois Moran and Xeil Hamilton.
