SLIP ON NORTH LINE
NO TRAINS DELAYED Heavy rains last night brought down a slip on the main north railway line between Hoteo and Kaipara Flats. The line was blocked for a time, but no trains were delayed as the slip occurred early in the morning. A gang of workmen was organised and the line was cleared before the first trains went through.
