WITH TWO LADDERS TORN AWAY BODILY, boats stove in and other deck gear damaged the Island steamer Tofua reached Auckland this afternoon a day late. The picture shows the lad der leading from the shelter deck to the boat deck lying where the storm left it. The railings of another ladder can be seen hanging at the top of the picture.
