AIRPLANE IN SUBMARINE

AIR MINISTRY’S SECRET WORK OF YEARS GREAT VALUE TO NAVY (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) LONDON, Saturday. A closely-kept secret of the Air Ministry is to be revealed at the International Aero Exhibition to be held at Olympia in July. This is a small aiiplane specially constructed to fit to a submarine. Experiments have been going on for years in the effort to perfect the machine and to evolve a method of carrying it in a submarine without greatly altering its construction. The chief value of the new airplane is that it can be transported to a desired place with complete secrecy. It will be invaluable for co-operation with the fleet.
