GOLF CLUB’S LOSS
FIRE DESTROYS WORKSHOP THIRD SUSPICIOUS FIRE Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Today. A workshop at the Avondale Golf Club’s links used by the professional was destroyed by fire on Thursday evening. The damage, estimated at £2OO, is covered by insurance. This outbreak, following on similar fires at Kaiapoi and Rangiora, is suspected to have been caused by incendiarism.
