T>EGINNING the longest journey ever undertaken in behalf of the films, W. S. Van Dyke , director, and Edwina Booth, Duncan Renaldo, Harry Carey, and a technical staff, have left New York for Africa to film ‘‘Trader Horn/’

They plan to penetrate far in the jungle, .

and to remain two years in Africa. Miss Booth, Re n - aldo and Carey as Trader Horn in his younger days are the white actors in the cast.

travelled to Tahiti to make “While Shadows in the South Seas.” The trip to Africa is far more ambitious. Technical crews will build roads into the jungles to transport portable power plants for electric lights, and a llm laboratory must be installed.
