COMING OF AGE PARTY
Mr. and Mrs. W. I>illam, of Point , Chevalier, entertained a large number | of friends in the Point Chevalier Sailing Club Hall on Wednesday evening to celebrate the coming-of-age of their son Charles. Coloured streamers and balloons decorated the hall and splendid dance music was supplied. During the evening several songs by Mr. Keg Richards were much appreciated. Mrs. Dillam received her guests wearing a gown of navy crepe fleuri with oriental relief. Among those present were: | Mrs. Scherer, shaded lilac tulle frock. Miss Stevens, pink frilled georgette frock. Miss Hawkins, moonlight blue georgette frock. Miss P. Stevens, delphinium blue georgette frock. Miss May, pervenche blue lace frock. Miss Leckie, euban rose chenille embossed georgette. Mrs. Wheeler, rose crepe de chine. Mi's. Porteous, patterned crepe de chine gown. Miss Brian, bouffant frock of green taffeta. * Mrs. Matheson, bronze crepe de chine. 1 Mrs. Fitzjohn, black georgette and ; lace. 11 Miss Cameron, rose velvet with se- !. quinned hem. Miss Xash, cloth of silver. Miss D. Holmes, ivory satin and 1 J silver lace frock. ‘ Mrs. Shade, leaf green ring velvet. , Miss Richards, royal blue brocade. ] Miss Davis, pink taffeta frock.
