Reevely. ; j Mount Eden, to Ewart Jack, elder son j of Mr. and Mrs. J. Freest, .Horsham j Downs. Hamilton. The Rev. Joseph i Kemp performed the ceremony and Mr. ! Arthur E. Wilson was at the organ, j The bride entered the church with ; ! her father. Ivory taffeta fashioned the bridal gown which was appliqued with french hand-made roses of chenille. Her long veil was embroidered in silver i and was fashioned with a coronet of 1 orange blossom. The bride carried a shower bouquet of white flowers. There were two attendant maids, j Miss Cl race Reevely, who wore a j french tucked sea foam georgette and i j lace frock, and Miss Freda Freest, who was gowned in shrimp pink geor- | gette with long frilled skirt. Their I hats were of beige, flower trimmed, and ; each bridesmaid carried a bouquet of ! pink flowers. I Little Jacqueline Freest was a pretty flower girl in palest pink and apple green georgette with a tiny floral ! headband. She carried a posy of ! flowers to tone. ' Mr. Ross Bruce was best man and ! Mr. Stan Evans attended as grooms- | man, while Mr. P. Freest and Mr. H. ; Leckie acted as ushers. Miss Doreen Bogan sang a sacred solo during the j signing of the register. Mrs. Reevely later received the guests at the Domain Tea Kiosk. Her j ; gown was of saxe blue bengaline, worn j with a smart grey hat, and she carj ried a bouquet of red and blue flowers. HAMILTON—McILROY A wedding of much interest was celebrated at St. John’s Church, Te Awamutu, on Wednesday last, when the Rev. R. H. Trill officiated. The contracting parties were Miss Edith Mcllroy and Mr. Albert Hamilton, both of Belfast, Ireland. The bride, who was given away by Mr. C. Graham, of Paterangi, wore a charming frock of ivory crepe de chine j draped with Mechlin lace, and caught I at the side with large pearl buckle. ! The long tight-fitting sleeves were in- I set with godets of lace. Her Limerick j lace veil was held in place with a core- ‘ net of orange blossoms, and she car- ■ ried a shower bouquet of chrysantlieI mums and roses. | Miss Mary Edwards, of Ohaupo, was | bridesmaid, and wore a frock of leaf green crepe de chine with uneven hem-’ line and diamante relief. Her headdress was of silver tissue and green I tulle. She carried a bouquet of bronze j chrysanthemums and autumn foliage. I ! The flower girl, little Peggy Graham, ! j wore a frock of shell pink crepe de ! j chine, with mauve trimmings. Her headdress was silver and mauve, and she carried a posy of pink flowers. Mr. W. Hamilton officiated as best man. After the ceremony Mr. C. Graham, of Paterangi, received the guests at the Momona Tea Rooms. She wore a J navy and fawn frock and carried a bouquet of autumn-tinted flowers. I The honeymoon is being spent in I Auckland, and the bride travelled m a I fawn tailored ensemble with fox fur. j.

Graham, of Herne Bay. and the jl i late Mr. A. Graven, was married' to Mr. i I Mark Anthony, elder son of Mr. and | 1 Mrs. H. J. Anthony, of New Plymouth, i The ceremony was performed by the ■ Rev. W. Averill and the bridal music I was played by Dr. Phillips. ' The bride entered the church on the ! arm of her father, and looked very j charming in a frock of cream satin | j beaute with insets of brussels lace. , i Her veil of brussels lace was arranged j | on the head with circlets of pink and j white orange blossoms, and fell in soft | : folds to form a very graceful train. ! Silver shoes with stockings to tone, and a lovely shower bouquet of white chrysanthemums and asparagus fern, completed a very charming toillette. Her two sisters, the Misses Millicent and Althea Graven, attended the bride. Their frocks were of cameo pink crepe do chine, with gold lace inset and head-dresses of gold lace to tone. Each maid carried a bouquet of rose and gold flowers. Mr. H. J. Anthony was best man and Mr. A. Callaghan was groomsman. After the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Graham entertained the guests at their house in Ardmore Road, Herne Bay. The bride's mother was gowned in a black french crepe de chine ensemble. Among the guests were: Mrs. S. S. Clarke, navy charmeuse frock, with light facings. Mrs. E. M. Lucena, gold embossed black i crepe de chine. Mrs. Graham (mother of the bride), black lace hat, with ospreys, black french crepe de chine woven in oriental colours.
