ELECTION OF COMMITTEES Standing committees and representations upon various bodies have been appointed by the Takapuna Borough Council as under: Deputy-Mayor, Cr. J. W. Hayden; finance and legal, the Mayor (chairman), Crs. Colegrove, Hart, Titchener and Seaman; works, Crs. Hayden (chairman), Guiniven, Powell, Wilkie and the Mayor; parks, Crs. Algie (chairman), Titchener and Hart; library, the Mayor and Crs. Seaman and Titchener; fire brigade, Crs. Wilkie (chairman), Titchener and Hart; municipal band, Crs. Hart (trustee) and Wilkie; Marino Boroughs’ Association, the Mayor, Crs. Colegrove and Wilkie; water board, the Mayor; joint destructor committee, the Mayor and Cr. Powell; harbour bridge committee, Crs. Guiniven and Wilkie.
