£25,000 FOR UNEMPLOYED MR. ARCHER’S ENTHUSIASM Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Today. “Sir Joseph Ward lias made to this city the greatest offer that has been made in regard to unemployment. He has offered £25,000 with absolutely no conditions except that it must be used locally, on £1 for £1 basis,” said the Mayor, the Rev. J. K. Archer, at the City Council installation ceremony.
