LEAGUE RUGBY
MEETING OF EXECUTIVE SEVEN-A-SIDE AT HIKURANGI At a meeting of the Management Committee of the Auckland Rugby League held last evening, Mr. G. Rhodes, presiding, a letter was received from tho Northland Rugby League advising that a seven-a-side tournament would be held at Hikurangi for both junior and senior teams on Juno 3. Silver cups would be presented to each member of the winning team, and Auckland clubs were invited to enter. It was decided to approve the arrangements. A request to send a senior team to Hikurangi on Saturday, June 1, was referred to tho junior management committee. A claim for -;a win by default from tho Richmond senior B team was made on behalf of Northcote, on the grounds that Richmond defaulted in the opening series. It was decided to inform the Northcote Club that provision aas already been made for replaying the match at the end of the season should it alter the positions of the teams in the championship. The New Zealand Rugby League advised approval of the following reinstatements:—J. F. Horsley, S. J. Ball, C. G. Culpan and A. G. Campney. The following applications for transfers were approved:—H. R. Goodwin, Newton to Richmond; Iv. Peckham, Ponsonby to Newton; L, Letton. Ponsonby to Newton.
