The annual report of the directors of the Gisborne Gas Company shows a balance of £3,306 available for distribution, lrom which a dividend of 6d a share, absorbing £1,335. is recommended. The sum of £471 has been placed to reserve account, and £1,500 has been carried forward. The dividend for the year, including an interim dividend of 6d a share previously paid, is Is a share, or 5 per cent. LONDON MEAT MARKET RETAIL QUOTATIONS The New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board has been advised by its London manager that the following retail prices were quoted for New Zealand lamb and mutton retailed in London on May 3:— New Zealand Lamb.—legs, 15d a lb; shoulders, 14d: loins, 13d; necks, Sd; breasts, sd. New Zealand mutton (wether): Legs, lid: shoulders, lOd; loins, 10d; necks, 7d; breasts, 4d. LONDON WOOL SALES FULL RATES MAINTAINED (Australian and N.Z. There was an excellent selection of Merinos, which cleared well, and a large offering of New Zealand slipes and seoureds. There was a good tone, all sections operating freely at full rates. There were hut few withdrawals. New Zealands: Waihi, 17|d top price, 16id average; Candmacl, 16d, 15£d. WOOL SALES AT SYDNEY SYDNEY, Wednesday. At the Sydney wool sales to-day 10,725 bales were sold.
