GASSED IN SHOP
Customers who entered the shop of Messrs. Jacksons at Goring-on-Thames, England, discovered the manager,. Mr. W’right, and two girl assistants in a semi-conscious condition, suffering from gas poisoning. They were assisted into the fresh air and soon recovered Soon afterwards a customer walked into the Goring branch of the Midland Bank, next door to Messrs. Jacksons, and found the manager, Mr. FI. A. Lyon, and his clerk, Mr. L. F. CooV. unconscious. They quickly recovered. The trouble is believed to be*»n caused by a leakage in the gaa main.
