BIRTHDAY PARTY

A delightful party was held at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. F. Green. Shackleton Road, Mount Eden, on Monday evening in honour of their daughter Orma’s birthday. The guest of honour was gowned in blue crepe de chine and silver lace, and received many pretty and useful gifts. The house was gaily decorated with streamers and flowers of autumn tints, and the evening was enjoyably spent in musical items, games and dancing. Duets played by Mrs. Green and Orma were much appreciated, also items by Miss Peggy Patterson, Gabriel Marshall, Kathleen O’Malley and Elsie Dye. Mrs. Green received her guests in a gown of black floral crepe de chine. Among those present were: Mrs. McGarry, wearing navy bine crepe de chine, beautifully embroid€red: Mrs. Clark, Mrs. Patterson, Mrs. Egginton, Mrs. Empson, and Mrs. Mulqueeney; Misses Clark. Joan Egginton, Kathleen O’Malley, Peggy Patterson, Gabriel Marshall, Marjory Read, Masters Noel Green. Raymond Green, Laurie Mulqueeney, Ormond Mulqueeney and Claude Empson. Prizes were won by Miss Kathleen O’Malley, Marjory Read, and Elsie Dye.
