National of Australasia Firm A FAIR volume of business is being recorded and prices are veil maintained. National Bank of Australasia, both issues, are quietly firming with occasional sales. New South Wales are also keenly watched by investors; buyers are offering £sl 15s, but fail to attract sellers under £52
yC 7s 6d. Considerable attention is being drawn to the banking section and good average business is being written up. Commercial Bank of Australia remain firm with buyers 30s, sellers asking 20s 3d. In the Loan and Agency section. Abraham and Williams pref. have eager buyers at ?7s fid. Goldsbrough. Mort, and National Mortgage are also asked for. Loar and Mercantile, both issues, remain firm. Guarantee Corporation ord. have buyers at Ss Bd. • * * Auckland Gas shares are activ e and heavy business has been recorded as high as 24s 6d, leaving the market firm.
