PRICES ON THE HOOKS Press Association WELLINGTON', Monday. The New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board advises that the following: prices are being offered for fat stock for export at May 6, 1929: Canterbury.—Prime woolly lambs, 361 b and under, 9 7-Sd; 371 b to 121 b. S 7-Sd: 431 b and over. 8 3-Sd; second quality lambs. S 7-Sd. Southland.—Prime woolly Limbs, 361 b and under, 9 5-Sd; 371 b to 421 b, S 5-Sd; 431 b and over. 8 l-8d: second quality lambs, 361 b and under, S 3-Sd; over 361 b, 7 5-Sd. It may be noted that at the present time most lambs are being: purchased by head, consideration being given to the quality of the lambs and the value of the skins.
