The following persons are entitled to vote:— A person whose name appears for the time being- in the occupiers* column in the valuation roll of a constituent district of the Auckland Transport District in respect of rateable property within that district; PROVIDED THAT, IN ALL CASES WHERE THE NAME OF A HUSBAND OR WIFE APPEARS IN SUCH COLUMN THEN THE RIGHT TO VOTE SHALL APPLY TO EACH OF THEM.
