NIAGARA FROM VANCOUVER.—The local office of the Union Company advises that the R.M.S. Niagara, which is due at Auckland on Monday, May 20, from Vancouver and way ports, leav€-.s here at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21, for Sydney.
ULIMAROA AT SYDNEY. —CabIe adxice lias been received that the Huddart, Parker’s intercolonial passenger steamer Ulimaroa arrived at Sydney at 7 o’clock this morning from Wellington. At noon on Friday she leaves the New South Wales port for Auckland, where she is due next Tuesday. SCHOONERS HUIA AND Plßl. —The Nobel auxiliary schooner Hu La sailed for Brisbane, via Whangarei, yesterday morning. The vessel will land a small quantity of explosives at Whangarei and then go to Brisbane to unload her timber cargo. From Brisbane she will proceed to Melbourne to load exi.alosix'es for Queensland ports. The company’s auxiliary schooner Piri, en route from Auckland, was to leave Westport yesterday for Greymoutli. Wellington and Dunedin to complete discharge. At Dunedin the vessel will load general cargo for Auckland and' from this port she is to go to Melbourne. RONA AND FIONA.—The Colonial Sugar Company’s steamers Rona and Fiona are both laid up at Sydney undergoing an extensive overhaul. STOP-WORK MEETING.—The usual monthly stop-work meeting of the waterside workers was held this morning, consequently no work was done on vessels in port until after 10 a.m. CANADIAN BRITISHER GOlNG—Advice from the local office of the Canadian National Steamships states that the Canadian Britisher is to be dispatched for Wellington to-morrow afternoon. She will continue discharging there and later at Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin. MATAROA LEAVES COLON.—Cabled news has been received by the ShaAv, Savill and Albion Company that its liner Mataroa left Colon last Thursday morning for Southampton and London, en route from Wellington. The vessel sailed from Wellington on April 13. HERMINIUS LEAVES COLON.—The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company has been notified by cable that the JTerminius left Colon last Thursday afternoon for London, en route from Port Chalmers. The vessel sailed from the Otago port on April 9. TAHITI FOR SYDNEY.—In continuation of her voyage from San Francisco and way ports, the local office of the Union Company has been advised that file R.M.S. Tahiti leaves Wellington at 10 o’clock this evening for Sydney. The Tahiti arrived at Wellington yesterday morning. BARON BELHAVEN’S MOVEMENTS. —The local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the steamer Baron Belhaven leaves Auckland on Saturday for Wellington, where she completes her discharge of basic slas| from Antwerp. Afterwards the vessfi proceeds to Australia to load for Horn**. DAGHESTAN REPORTS.—The tanker Daghestan reports by wireless that she will arrive from Singapore early tomorrow morning. The vessel has a full cargo of bulk oil for the Shell Company. She will, unload a quantity of the cargo at Western Wharf and the remainder at Wellington. CANADIAN CHALLENGER RETURNING—The local office of the Canadian National Steamships has been advised that the Canadian Challenger is to leave Wellington to-day for Auckland. Arriving here on Thursday evening, she will complete loading at this port and sail finally for New York, Boston and Montreal on Friday evening. MAR AM A ARRIVING.—ShortIy before 1.00 p.m. to-day the Union Company’s intercolonial passenger steamer Marama arrived in the stream at Auckland from Sydney. Later she berths at the Central Wharf to land her passengers, mails and cargo. The vessel is scheduled to leave Auckland at 3 o’clock on Friday afternoon on her return trip to Sydney. TAMAROA SAILS.—The Shaw, .Savill and Albion liner Tamaroa sailed for Wellington last evening to complete unloading' cargo from London. Afterwards the vessel will load for England at Lyttelton, Napier and Wellington. With pas - sengers and mail she is to be dispatched finally from Wellington for Southampton and London on June S. WAIRUNA FROM PACIFIC COAST — The Union Company’s trans-Pacific cargo steamer Wairuna is due in the stream at at 9 o’clock this evening from Pacific Coast ports. To-morrow morning she berths at the Prince’s Wharf to unload the local portion of her cargo before proceeding to Napier, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff and New Plymouth to complete discharge.
ROTORUA DUE FRlDAY.—Leaving New Plymouth to-morrow for Auckland, the New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Rotorua is due here on Friday to continue her loading for Home. Efforts are to be made to dispatch the Rotorua Saturday nignt or Sunday morning for Tokomaru Bay; thence Gisborne, Lyttelton and Wellington to fill up. She is scheduled to sail finally from Wellington on May 25 for Southampton and London, via Panama. RUAPEHU FROM LONDON.—From London the New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Ruapehu is due at Wellington on May 14. Besides passengers and mail for New Zealand the vessel has general cargo for discharge at Wellington * Chalmers, Lyttelton, Auckland and New Plymouth. She is scheduled to reach Auckland about May 27.
