SAMOAN LIBEL CASE
APPEAL DISMISSED Press Association WELLINGTON, Monday. At the Supreme Court to-day, Mr. Justice Ostler delivered judgment in the appeal case, Samoa “Guardian” and William Tarr, editor, v. Judge McCarthy, Apia. The appeal was from the decision of the High Court of Western Samoa awarding McCarthy £IOO damages for libel. The appeal was dismissed. — P.A.
