The meeting unanimously decided to ask Mr. B. C. Bobbins chairman of the Bay of Plenty Development Lea ft® and Mayor of Tauranga. Mr. Hi R. Hagg. representing the Opotik. _ Hospital Board and Bay of Plenty Power Board, to proceed to Wellington with j the c®smty chairman. Mr. J. H_ Reid, and. the Mayor. Mr. G. ?. Moody, to wait on the Prime Minister in an en- j deavour to secure the extension of the j Main Trunk railway from Taneatoa i to Opotiki.
