GOOD FISHING

GOVERNOR-GENERAL’S FINE BAG (3pedal to THE SUN) TAUPO, Friday. Fishing the Tongariro River yesterday, his Excellency the GovernorGeneral. Sir Charles Fergusson, landed 13 fine rainbow trout, the largest a 10pounder. Early this morning his Excellency caught four more fish, including another 10-pvo under.. Another two rods in this party have done almost as well, a total of 35 fish having been landed in a day and ahalf.

Many other anglers have bad excellent sport. The fishing has not been better at any stage of the season.
