THE HOME OF THE COMMODORE.—Admiralty House was erected for the Commodore of the New Zealand Division of the Royal Navy. It stood on an eminence overlooking Beach Road and commanded a magnificent harbour panorama. This fine residence was demolished to make possible the creation of Anzac Avenue. The Commodore, to-day, has no official residence.
