ENSIGN FOR SCHOOL
NAVY LEAGUE’S GIFT
‘‘You will never realise what the flag really means until you see it flying in a foreign country,” said Mr. C. H. T. Palmer, president of the Auckland Branch of the Navy League, when presenting a naval ensign to the Cornwall Park School yesterday aftc*rnoon. The -fact that. the school’s juvenile membership of the league now amounted to 247 was stressed by the acting-secretary, Mr. B. \V. Beaumont. It was to be hoped that arrangements could be made for the children to visit the French warship which was expected'at Auckland in July. Canon C. L. Tuke also addressed the young audience.
