BROTHERS IN BANKRUPTCY Prc** Ai*ocvueiou DITXEDIX, Thursday. j At a meeting of creditors in the bankrupt estate ol Branson Brothers, lessees of the Crown Hotel, it was stated that the cause of filing wfs an * umpousible" rental of h 2.G-70 a year. The hotel, which is a small house in a side street, has been occupied by Branson Brothers lor only about eighteen months. One of the creditors said the sympathy of the meeting was with bank- - rupis who. he believed, were paying the second highest rer.rai in Otmedin. Bankrupts submitted a proposal to carry- on, involving an offer f *ls Cd in the pound, but the proceedings were adjourned to er.abie ;af-. credit ore to get in touch with the landlord, who ia now on his way to England. j
