KEEN COUNCIL CONTEST
NEW BLOOD AT OTAHUHU FAIR VOTING TOTAL Although the Mayor of Otahuhu was elected unopposed, considerable interest w as shown in the council election. Six members of the old council sought renewal of public confidence, but three only were re-elected. There are five new councillors. Out of a roll of 2,500, 1,500 votes were recorded.
