BROADFOOT V. O’BRIEN

PALMERSTON NORTH BOUT MATCH NEXT MONTH Jim Broadfoot, the Auckland middle-weight boxer, has been matched to meet Roy O’Brien at Palmerston North on June 3 or June 4. He is getting into trim at the City Fire Station. The Aucklander was originally matched to fight Vince Parker, brother of Eddie Parker, but the association evidently could not persuade Parker to come across from Sydney in time for the fight. O’Brien is an Australian middle weight who has been fighting with great success in the suburban areas of Australia. He arrived iu Wellington last week.
