A request from the Te Rapa School j Committee for permission to introduce the Nelson system of Bible reading into I the school was received yesterday bv the Auckland Education Board, which \ authorised the committee to use its ! own discretion. The introduction of the system is optional. The letter from the commit- | tee stated that a poll of parents on the > question had resulted in 17 voting for und 3 against.
