SUBURBAN THEATRES At the Prince Edward Theatre this evening- the pictures are to be “The Patriot” (Emil Jannings and Lewis Stone), and “A Woman Against the World” (Georgia Hale and Harrison Ford). Eve Bentley's Orchestra, late ‘ of the Strand Theatre, will provide the music. The Capitol Theatre. Dominion j Road, will show “Outcast” (Corinne Griffith) and "The Further Adventures < of the Flag Lieutenant” (Isobel Jeans and Henry Edwards). The Empire Theatre. . Dominion J Road, is to screen “The Price of Fear” (Bill Cody) and “Beware of Married Men” (Irene Rich). The Edendale Theatre will show “Four Walls” (John Gilbert) and “The Matinee Idol” (Bessie Love). The Grey Lynn Cinema will be showing “Adoration” (Billie Dove) and “Husbands for Rent” (Dolores Costello and Owen Moore). At the Parish Hall. Devonport. the film to be shown this evening is “The Last Command” (Emil Jannings). Fox Films’s new production. “The Grouch Bag.” featuring Louise Dresser, has been retitled, and will be released under the title of “Not Quite Decent.”
Malcolm St. Clair is now directing ! the latest Harold Lloyd picture for i Paramount in Hollywood. Barbara ; Kent has the chief feminine role and other important members of the cast | include Charles Middleton and Xoah j Young.
Carmel Myers, who has had pr* r cally no stage experience, but wh o b ruled as a screen favourite for a ber of years, is back on the FoxT after five years to play an import** role in an all-talking film. “The Talks.”
