ST. JAMES THEATRE

JEWEL THIEVES AND FUN Named by George Wallace as his best laughing revue, “Sparklers” is enjoying a good run this week at St. James Theatre. Two jewel thieves have marked an American millionaire collector as their victim, but George Wallace is in the plot, and is on the side of the collector, who subsequently retains his jewels. But not before there has been plenty of fun and laughter in Paris and on board a liner. George is the centre of the plot and the fun, and the rest of the company give him good support. The jazz band, the “Flaming Youths," are in fine form this week and the concerted numbers and the solo items are very enjoyable. A grand souvenir night will be. held to-morrow evening in honour of the 151st and record performance of any revue company.
