ODDFELLOWS’ INSTALLATION

ELM REBEKAH LODGE The installation of officers of Elm Rebekah Lodge was carried out on Monday evening in the Paragon Theatre, Papakura. in the presence of a very large attendance. Visitors were present from the following lodges: Star of Waiuku, Lily of Franklin. Bethesda, Excelsior, Pukekohe, Epsom, The installing officers were: P.G. Bro. D. Pemberton, P.D.D.G.M., and f\G. Bro. R. Schlaepfer. A vote of sympathy was passed ta the newly-elected D.D.G.M., Bro. 11. Barriball. of Waiuku. in his recent bereavement. The following officers were installed: X.G.» Sister R. Dryland; P.N.G.. Sister Barnes: V.G., Sistc;r Z. Fahey: treasurer, Sister K. A. Jephson; financial secretary, Bro. C. B. Lever; recording secretary. Sister I. Wells; warden. Sister G. Martin; conductor, Sister E. Guillard; chaplain. Sister Taylor. P.G.; R.S.N.G.. Sister Watson: L.S.N.G., Sister X. Pemberton: R.S.V.G.. Sister M. Johnson; L.S.V.G., Sister Bates; R.A.S.. Sister Richardson: L.A.S., Sister M. Kinlock; inside guardian. Sister D. Fahey; organist, Sister Kinlock; outside guardian, Bro. F. Walker. I.G. Bro. Pemberton, P.G.D.D.M., presented on behalf of the lodge a P.G. collar to Sister Pemberton. P.N.G., also one to the N.G. Sister R. Dryland. The rest of the evening was spent in dancing and playing table bowls. The winning team was Waiuku. Supper was served by the Elm sisters.
