AFTER 25 YEARS’ SERVICE
SENIOR-SERGEANT SWEENEY RETIRES (From Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, Tuesday. Owing to ill-health Senior-Sergeant Sweeney, wlio has been 25 years in the New Zealand Police Force, is retiring from the service. This afternoon he was presented with a. wallet containing notes by Inspector Eccles, of Hamilton. Mr. Eccles referred to the efficiency and loyalty which had characterised tlie senior sergeant’s service in the force.
