Annual Anzac Dinner
Ex-Service Women s Association
The annual Anzac dinner of the ExService Women's Association was held at the Albert Hotel last evening:. The dining- room and tables were beautifully decorated with blue and gold flowers, and a special feature of the dinner was a wonderful trifle made in the shape of a Red Cross ambulance. After the dinner, all the members spent an enjoyable evening at the Majestic Theatre. Many of the members present wore service medals. Among those who attended were: President, Mrs. Basil

Mrs. Michaels; lion, secretary, Miss Stocker; lion, treasurer, Miss Luxford; committee, Mesdames Wily, Woods, Jacob. Lewin, Ranfurly-Smitli, Blampied, Whitehouse, Carruthers, Harris, Charles, Smith, Emptage, Hogg, Wrigley, Bruce, MacKenzie, Webster, Grieves, Tyrell Campbell, Webber. KentJohnstone, and Whitehouse, and Misses Barbour, Clarke, Slator, Ernest (R.R.C.), Mendellshon, Calders, Loehner, Bryant, and Bradshaw.
DANCE PARTY A very gay little impromptu dance party was given to Miss Betty Bryant, Shelly Beach Road, on Saturday evening, when a number of young people invaded the house, the evening being enjoyabiy spent in dancing, games and competitions. Miss Betty Bryant wore a. dainty dinner frock of gold lace and old rose georgette. Among those present wereMiss Mpllie Hutchings, Petty blue taffeta appliqued with silver Bk M{BB Phyllis Eady, gold taffeta and tulle Miss F. Saunders, flame ring velvet and georgette. & Miss M. Bryant, pink taffeta. Aliss T. Alontgommery, smoke blue embossed georgette. Miss AT. Alontgommery, blush pink ring velvet and georgette. Miss F Saunders, wistaria georgette and gold lace. Miss D. Cucksey, rose pink satin and gold lace. Aliss AT. Clarke, larkspur blue embossed georgette. Aliss E. Beale, cream satin and tulle skirt. Aliss 11. AA r illits, primrose taffeta and chiffon. Miss De Rungs, wedgwood blue taffeta and cherry ring velvet. Aliss I. Reid, flame velvet.
| CROQUET AT ST. HELIERS COMPETITION PLAYED Mrs. Keys was the guest of honour at a meeting of the St. Hellers Bay Croquet Club on Saturday afternoon. The president. Mrs. Garrard, presented Mrs. Keys with a bouquet and a basket, and congratulated her on winning the A grade silver button competition for the 1928-1929 season. Mrs. Keys thanked the members and later afternoon tea was served. A progressive croquet competition was/ won by Mrs. Birks, Mrs. Biggs and Miss Foster. Among those present were: Mrs. Keys, Mrs. Garrard, MrsMain, Mrs. Russell, Mrs. Lowe,. Mrs. Gordon, Mrs. Hazard, Mrs. Stevens, Mrs. Brewer, Mrs. Clark.
