GRAND AND LYRIC

“TESHA” Another fine British picture is being shown at the Grand and Lyrio Theatres in “Tesha.” The story concerns a man and wife whose mutual five-year-old longing for parenthood has not been fulfilled. The outstanding features are the masterly way the delicate theme has been treated and. the triumphant acting of Maria Cordu, as the wife, and the superb but restrained efforts of Jameson Thomas ua the husband. “Tesha” is adapted from Countess Barcynska's daring novel, which has created more controversy than any novel of recent years. “Captain Lash,” the stirring tale ofi a fifth engineer on a Pacific liner, is the second attraction. Victor McLaren has the leading role and Claire Windsor plays opposite him.
