GEORGE WALLACE FUN “Sparklers,” the George Wallace revue at St. James Theatre, Is having a great run of success. George is at his best in his newest I production and he receives big support from his company. The story concerns two diamond thieves—Si Meredith and Marie Nyman—who have marked down Marshall Crosby, as the millionaire American collector, for their victim. George is in the plot, too, but he sides with the CQllector, after a good deal of tomfoolery in Paris and on a liner. The result is that Marshall Crosby retains his diamonds. The stage band has a particularly satisfying programme in this revue. Besides the concerted numbers. Miff Myers plays the trombone, and George McGrath scores with his banjo playing. The Six Rascals ballet is as neatly i frocked as ever. The first half of the programme is devoted to individual song numbers. | dancing turns and amusing sketches.
