MUSICAL COMEDY
NEW KIND OF SOUND PICTURE The first Paramount all-talking short features have arrived in Sydney. They Include a two-reel sketch by the Broadway musical comedy favourite, Eddie Cantor, titled “Eddie Cantor. That Party in Person”; two Irving Berlin songs, sung by Ruth Etting; an address on “What Is It?” by Elinor Glyn; and a one-reel sketch, “Just One Word,” written and directed by Joseph Santlev.
“DYNAMITA” Lily Damita, Samuel Goldwvn’s recent French find, who appears opposite Ronald Colman in “The Rescue." a United Artists’ picture, came to Hollywood last summer, with a considerable reputation for beauty and talent, but without definite forecastings of her personality.
