ENGINEDRIVER FINED £1 A disagreement over opening a bottle of beer resulted in tho appearance of Ernest Heap at the Police Court this morning on a charge of assault. Heap, an enginedriver, aged 36. pleaded guilty to being drunk in Parnell Road and assaulting Harold lionelan. Mr. Sullivan appeared for him. According to Sub-In&pector McCarthy, the two men were friends, and It was strange that they should fight. Drink was the only explanation. Heap was fined *2l.
