America won two matches to Britain’s one. The other was halved. Golden and Hagen (America) beat E. Whiteombe and Cotton (Britain). 2 up; Compston and C. Whiteombe (Rri tain), and Farrell and Turnesa (America) halved: Mitchell and Robson (Britain) beat Dudley and Sara zen (America). 2 —l: Diegel and Espinoza (America) beat Duncan and Boomer (Biltain) 7 —5. The Britons were just as good as the Americans, but the formers* putting was a sorry tale.
