SHOTGUN EXPLODES
FARM-HAND LOSES TWO FINGERS CHASE AFTER DOG (From Our Own Correspondent) WHANGAREX, To-day. Allan Jones. 29. of Kaikohe. a farm hand of Nukatawhiti, was out yesterday with a gun trying to locate a dog that had been worrying sheep, when in giving chase he fell and the gun went off. The charge wounded him in the left hand. He was brought to the j Whangarei Hospital last evening. Two ■ Angers were so badly smashed that | they had to be amputated.
