LAUDER’S FAREWELL

LAST APPEARANCE TO-NIGHT Harry Lauder and his associate band of international vaudeville artists will make their final Auckland appearance at His Majesty's Theatre this evening in a specially compiled valedictory programme. Lauder will be heard in some of the choicest gems of his repertoire including “When I Meet Mackay” and “I’ve Just Got Off the Chain.” and Mr. Rupert Hazel and Elsie Day, the Fredo Bros., Tiki Carpenter, Don Julian, Beryl Wentworth and Haydn Beck will present their most popular acts. The company is to appear for one night only at the Theatre Royal. Hamilton, on Monday next. Twenty-five years have passed since Sir Harry first appeared on the stage. For nearly a quarter of a century he has charmed the world, just as he charmed the house at His Majesty’s last evening.
