DRAUGHTS ASSOCIATION ENCOURAGES YOUNG PLAYERS

T H E Auckland Provincial * Draughts Association is now in full swing. There are already over fifty members, and meetings are held in the Working Men's Club, Kitchener Street, every Tuesday and Thursday evening. Rules have been finalised and duly registered. . The objects of the association are to foster the game, principally among novices, and the y° u "9®' members, who will be coached by efficient players. At present a ladder tournament is in operation order to classify players.
