PUKEKOHE ORPHANS’ CLUB
ELECTION OF OFFICERS The annual meeting of the Pukekohe Orphans’ Club was held last evening, the president, Mr. H. H. O’Loughlen, presiding over a fair attendance of members. The president’s report disclosed that the club had experienced a most successful year, and the membership was gradually increasing. The balance-sheet showed a credit of £5 19s on last year’s operations, cash in the bank £23 2s 9d and accLimulated funds about £7O. The election of officers resulted: Patron, Air. C. K. Lawrie; president, Air. F. A. Hosking; vice-presidents, Dr. J. McWhirter, Alessrs. E. G. Foster, R. G. Alay and S. P. Day; secretary, Mr. W. J. Short: treasurer, Mr. T. E.' Keven; committee, Alessrs. H. H. O’Loughlen, H. Burrows, W. G. Appleby, C. Alahon, R. Fulton. W. J. A. Mooro and Dr. L. J. Forman-Bull; immediate past president, Air. O’Loughlen; auditor, Air. AT. S. Campbell; honorary pianists, Alessrs. S. Edwards, T. Sparling, Drs. Abernetliy and Bull. Votes of thanks were accorded the outgoing officers
