BETTER POSTAL FACILITIES
GLEN EDEN AND TITiRANGI REQUESTS Residents of Glen Eden and Titirangi met the Postmaster-General, the Hon. J. B. Donald, on Wednesday afternoon with requests for better postal facilities. After listening to the requests the Minister promised to make inquiries into both cases. Air. Donald was accompanied by Air H. G. R. Alason, AI.P. At Tiritangi the deputation asked that the post office be retained, that a rural mail delivery’ be made from Xew Lynn, and that an afternoon mail be made up for the city. The Glen Eden Town Board, beaded by the chairman. Air. W. E. Martin, made a request for a new' post office to be placed in the centre of the township.
