NOISE IN A THEATRE
MAN LOOKING FOR FIGHT DEMONSTRATION COSTS £1 Edward John O’Hallorin acted more than a little riotously at a suburban picture theatre one evening last month but. as he says, it was after a day’s “boozeroo.” A charge of being disorderly while drunk was made at the Police Court this morning and O’Hallorin pleaded guilty by letter. “He threatened to kill everybody in the theatre,” asserted Sub-Inspector McCarthy. “He was .going to smash everything and break people’s bones.” It was understood that the man’s behaviour was prompted by the refusal of the manager of the theatre to sell him a ticket. A fine of JCI was imposed.
