OFFICE EFFICIENCY
DEVONPORT BOROUGH ACCOUNTS FINALISED The Devonport Borough Council has achieved what is probably a record in finalising its annual accounts. At the last meeting of the council on Wednesday, councillors congratulated the office staff on having the accounts prepared and audited ready for printing. The council will go out of office without leaving a legacy to the next council. The Audit Department was praised, also, for its facility in completing the audit. The borough accounts deal with a revenue of about £65,000.
