MT. ALBERT CAMPAIGN

ADDRESS BY MR. RHODES

As a candidate for the Mayoralty of Mount Albert, Mr. L, E. Rhodes, the present Mayor, addressed a meeting in the Kingsland Jubilee Hall on Wednesday evening, Mr. J. W. Bissett presiding over an attendance of about 120.

Mr. Rhodes had a cordial reception and was given a unanimous vote of thanks and confidence at the end oi his address. He spoke mainly on the lines of his opening address. Thn\3 members of the council who are offering themselves for re-election also spoke, paying tributes to Mr. Rhodes’s work in the borough.
