YOUNG AUSTRALIANS
BOY’S DEATH INVESTIGATED (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) fc (United Service) TORONTO, Sunday. Au investigation into the death of William Straelian, one of the party of Australian boy tourists, is being carried on by Dr. W. J. Bell, deputyMinister of Health. He went to Niagara Falls from Toronto in response to a request from the local health officers. Dr. Bell has determined that the cause of death was a streptococcus germ, a form of blood-poisoning. The lad's death was somewhat similar to the deaths of fire persons who were recently stricken -at Elfrid, a township near London, Ontario. It is believed that the latter were victims of the same germ. ■ William Kremmer, young Straelian s companion, has been placed in quarantine. The officials in charge of the boys said all were in good health except John West, who had been sent to hospital with throat trouble.
