Clifford was a daughter j Alr - .John Lane, formerly of BarbaWest Indies She married the late K. Clifford, a fellow of the Koval society. Her first novel. "Love Tv. :er r. b* a Worldlv Woman’* (1913), Ofn .House in Marylebone” (1917), "Mr. (1919), and volumes of short Mac ' She also contributed to the niObert Journal. Blackwood's, and other ."asralines. Her plav. ’’The Likeness ,h * N'ieht.’- was produced at St. Theatre in 1901, and she also “Hamilton's Second Marriage" Th f 1907), “Eve’s Lover” at ‘d various one-act plays.
