CYCLIST’S HEAVY FALL Press Association CHRISTCHURCH. Monday. A tramway overhead guy wire, which had broken and fallen to the roadway, became entangled in the front wheel of a motor-cycle, ridden by Mr. J. Work, of Richmond, to-night. Mr. Work was thrown heavily from his machine and received facial injuries and abrasions to the head. He was admitted to the hospital suffering severely from shock. His condition is serious. COLLISION WITH CAR CYCLIST BADLY HURT , Press Association GISBORNE, Monday. A cyclist. Leonard Tarr, aged 16 years met in collision with a motorcar at ilakaraka to-night. He was removed to tlio hospital, where his injuries were said to be serious, although their extent is n,.t yet known.
